I officially want to move to London (for a year). Everything about this city is absolutely amazing, from its darling stone streets and the most beautiful buildings to its food and shopping of course. After my photo shoot with Boohoo yesterday (which was so awesome and I can't wait to share), I walked around Carnaby street with Max and shopped til I literally couldn't feel my feet. I've been working with Steve Madden lately on a pretty cool fashion week project that features ways to wear some of my favorite shoes from their site. So here's the first one - nude pointy toe pumps worn with boyfriend jeans and bomber jacket. I'm loving this new bomber jacket that Front Row Shop sent me for it's turtle like shell, in the best way you could possibly interpret that. Remember the movie Master of Disguise? Enough said.

Street Style'ing

How to: street style edition. With fashion week glaring from us around the corner, the pressure is on the capture the attention of the Tommy Tons and other notable camera lenses outside the tents. In this how to, I'd like to discuss the photograph ready street style walk. When prancing up the steps into the valley of street style photographers (outside Lincoln Center), one should chant in their head "boom boom boom boom..." This is totally replacing "strut strut..." because strut is just a little too sissy for my liking. I'm talking beat pounding fierce steps that scream confidence and you better photograph me as you walk by. I like to compare this attitude to the one when I was 17 and getting into clubs as if I belonged there. If you walk the walk...well, the rest will follow.

I usually don't like to be late in the game when it comes to wearing a piece that has already gone viral, but I just couldn't resist. I've been lusting over sweatshirts ever since the first leaves fell this year, from Kenzo to Balenciaga to Phillip Lim - they all do it right.

Been spending a little too much time uptown recently because of the blackout, but I honestly can't complain. It's so beautiful up here by the park - and the shopping isn't too bad either. I feel pretty helpless though and like I should be doing more than just sitting around waiting for Con Ed to get their act together - hopefully by tomorrow night we'll have our power back. I went downtown to my apartment this morning and uy, it was a whole new world down there. Empty streets, nothing is open, pitch black everywhere... kinda scary. So proud of everyone for staying strong though, go us.

Sadly, I forgot about these blazer that was buried in my closet (because I only wore it in Stockholm this year) and now it's sold out. Sorry guys - wish I blogged about it earlier so you all could own it! Either way, Zara has been killing it lately with their latest collections and just keep getting bigger and better. They even just came out with Zara HOME! For reals, if you haven't been to your nearest Zara lately, it's time for a shopping excursion.

Ah I'm feeling really sick today, must be seasonal colds.. but either way it's too much to write more on this post or take more pics for the next few days. Hopefully I'll have new outfits for you guys when I'm feeling better soon! How great are these Rachel Roy shoes, I'm actually obsessed to the point where I let them give me blisters on the first wear (and then just wore them again and again). They're perfect for Fall!

It's still pretty warm, but cooling down a lot, enough to wear a graphic sweatshirt with some trash denim jeans. I love you Fall.
