Back to work, back to school, loving the structure in my life again. It was so nice out today in NYC, almost 60 and sunny! I randomly found this dress in my closet this morning and really wanted to give it a little edge: I'm infactuated with floral prints and leather (thank you Chelsea for letting me borrow your jacket hehe). Pairing something that's usually creates such a soft look with something totally opposite can create an awesome outfit. Don't be afraid to pair those dots and stripes next time your getting dressed! If there was ever a time to be bold, its now.

So here I am, with my newly revived hair! No one does it better than Arrojo Salon, and I'm loving my drastic OMBRE (isn't that such a fun word). The sheer blouse I'm wearing was a long-sleeve chiffon button-up from American Apparel but, I cut the sleeves off so it's easier to wear under sweaters - and it makes for a great vest too. Oh and looky looky- this outfit post inspired me to create a new banner, what do you think!?

Oh Kelsey, what can't I say about you. Straight off her plane from the Bahamas, Kelsey is bringing a little color back to NYC's streets. We met up today for a short trip to one of my favorite thrift stores- Buffalo Exchange and for a hot cup of Argo Tea, yum. Just because it's cold outside doesn't mean you have to dress like a blob, yes a blob.

High-low skirts are all the rage this year - whether in chiffon, pleated, sheer, or lace. You can dress them up with a silk blouse, wear them out shopping with an oversized sweater, or out to a bar with a t-shirt and leather jacket. Boots, heels, anything goes. And that's why I love them.

I couldn't help but laugh at how playful these two models were being while I tried to take their picture today, and obviously they're gorgeous. The pictures kind of looks straight out of magazine, go me! Anyway, fur is all the rage this winter and especially in color. So after drooling over Caroline's turquoise coat I am now on a hunt for a furry friend to call my own, would maroon be pushing it?

Outside (yes you guessed it) Model Lounge today, I spotted Caitlin Lomax. The frisky blonde from down under is rocking one of my favorite looks, leather shorts with tights and boots. Down under as in Australia, not the downstairs lounge of Coffee Shop (in case you were confused). Oh, and let's not forget her boyfriend's sweater. Always a good call to raid their closets ladies.

Model off duty, part 10? Walking around Union Square the other day I couldn't help but notice the numerous amount of models walking around in their stylish threads. And then it hit me, the newest hot spot for models to hang out is buried under the infamous Coffee Shop- introducing Model Lounge. The underground safe haven acts as an "office" for models when they're in between casting calls or photo shoots, million dollar idea if you ask me.

You can never go wrong with a little LF. There's always awesome shoes, a sexy dress to go out in, a one-of-a-kind rocker tee, some over-sized sweaters, a ton of studded clothes, endless denim cut-offs, cut-out everything, and a very appealing selection of accessories. LF has always been one of my favorite stores to walk into, when I can afford it, especially during their seasonal sales (which I've waited hours on a line for, happily). So if you haven't checked it out yet, now is the time (especially since the items can only be found in the actual store).
