Giving Thanks

Wearing: Zara SweaterJames Jeans | Juicy Couture Booties | Karen Walker Sunnies

It's almost that time of year again, where we stuff our face with mash potatoes and gravy, and try to avoid chopping our fingers off when cutting the turkey's tush for grandpa to eat. We go around the table, taking turns saying what we're thankful for, while the smallest cousin ties together all of our parents shoes. We play hide and seek, until someone gets hurt... and fight over the remote controls clicking on and off the football game. If this isn't what your Thanksgiving looks like - then well - it's definitely not as hilarious as mine. On a serious note - I wanted to tell all of you, my followers, that I am so so thankful for you supporting my blog and keeping me going! Have an amazing Thanksgiving guys!

BAG CHECK

My buds over at Juicy Couture featured me in a BAG CHECK post earlier this week - check out the feature below at on their site here. Also, sorry I haven't posted that many outfits this week - I've been pretty sick and just not feeling up to the job... More to come after the weekend I promise!

Far and few between can balance a vibe comprised of one part sweet, one part cool city grunge. But whenever we see Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What we can’t help but think she nails that look every time. We especially love the way she effortlessly totes around our Leather & Chain Shoulder Bag on a cool autumn afternoon in the city. We had no choice but to stop and ask, “What’s in your bag?
1. Givenchy Rottweiler iPhone Case – Rawwwwwrrr!
2. Alexander Wang Trigone Compact Wallet – A birthday present from my boyfriend—love him!
3. Amazonian Clay Mineral Powder Bronzer – This is the ultimate bronzer for a natural-looking glow.
4. Tom Ford Nail Lacquer in Plum Noir – Such an amazing color for the fall. I bring it around with me everywhere for quick touch-ups.
5. MAC Lipstick in Peach Blossom – I’ve been wearing this color for over a year now. It is the best… and kinda my best friend.
6. & 7.  Karen Walker Harvest Sunglasses & Karen Walker Crazy Tortoise Sunglasses – Never ever forget sunnies. Ever.
8. Diorshow Blackout Mascara in Kohl Black – I never leave home without it. It’s such a great way to glam up my look, especially if I’ve been running around all day.
9. Leather Shoulder Bag with Chain – I love how versatile this bag is. I see myself carrying it everywhere, all fall.

Ah I'm feeling really sick today, must be seasonal colds.. but either way it's too much to write more on this post or take more pics for the next few days. Hopefully I'll have new outfits for you guys when I'm feeling better soon! How great are these Rachel Roy shoes, I'm actually obsessed to the point where I let them give me blisters on the first wear (and then just wore them again and again). They're perfect for Fall!

New York Fashion Week {day 5}

Le 21ème | Adam Katz Sinding

Wearing: Topshop Dungarees | F21 Hat | Cheap Monday Booties (gifted)

Yesterday was one of my favorite days at the tents. I started with the Nanette Lepore show, followed by two interviews, one with Rocco from Fashion News Live and the other with Maybelline. After a well deserved lunch break I found myself back at Lincoln Center decked in Juicy Couture for their awesome outdoor presentation. But, right before that started I checked out one of my favorite brands - Clover Canyon - featuring the most amazing prints I can't wait to get my hands on. Until next time New York Fashion Week, I'm glad to be taking a break from you, for now.

Check out my video Fashion News Live where I briefly chat about the Nanette Lepore show and why bloggers have become major influencers in the fashion industry. I've had the pleasure of knowing Rocco from FNL for over a year now and I have to say, he's pretty damn good at his job. FNL has the most amazing up-close and personal interviews with people from all ends of the fashion industry. Check out more on  www.FashionNewsLive.com.
