Been spending a little too much time uptown recently because of the blackout, but I honestly can't complain. It's so beautiful up here by the park - and the shopping isn't too bad either. I feel pretty helpless though and like I should be doing more than just sitting around waiting for Con Ed to get their act together - hopefully by tomorrow night we'll have our power back. I went downtown to my apartment this morning and uy, it was a whole new world down there. Empty streets, nothing is open, pitch black everywhere... kinda scary. So proud of everyone for staying strong though, go us.

Yesterday I had a delicious lunch with Serena of The Spicy Stiletto and my other half Freddy of Blue Perk, at Garage in the West Village. Finally it's here, shorts season has just begun and I couldn't be happier. I fell in love with these Zara boyfriend shorts the other day and couldn't wait to try them out. Bleached, neon, tie-die, perfect. Also, this awesome spine necklace came to my apartment yesterday from ASOS. How cute is the WEWOREWHAT written in my camera in this last picture?! Props to Serena for putting that together. Happy weekend everyone!

So as part of my Spring shopping I picked up these awesome buckled heels from Topshop. I've been eyeing them for a while now and saw them as the perfect version of an edgy black bootie and summer sandal. Do I even need to mention this skull blouse? We all know I love skulls, and this silky sheer blouse takes the cake.

So maybe I think I'm a little bit cool.. but it's probably just the pants. Look 5 of my favorite pieces from The Addison Story spring collection features this really cute sheer blouse and some badass accessories. If I've yet to express my love of skulls and studs with you guys, here it is. I'm always wearing at least 3 skull pieces on my hands or neck, ask anyone who knows me they'll tell you it's true. The McQueen bangle was a birthday gift from my hubby, what a guy.
