New Beginnings

Wearing: Aritzia Silk Sweatshirt | Front Row Shop Pants | H&M Shoes (in stores) - Similar | All Saints Beanie

I wonder what 2013 is supposed to feel like... it's officially a new year which should mean new beginnings and some big changes. I hope everyone had an amazing New Years Eve (I know I did). And if you missed it on Instagram, I was sporting some it's New Years so I have an excuse to wear sequin pants - found here. I'm so excited for what's to come in 2013 - I know it's gonna be a good one for We Wore What. 2013, let's begin.

THE WKND

Wearing: Zara Skirt & Sweatshirt | Commando Tights | Ash Wedges | 3.1 Phillip Lim Bag

Post Thanksgiving day food coma I'm a little weary of "baring all" - which is why I know I can turn to my commando tights to save the day. I'm telling you guys, I will swear by these tights up and down that they are the best stockings out there. Not only are they the perfect shade of black opaque, but the tummy control top shows no lines and hides all. If you don't believe me, go try them yourself. Hope everyone has a happy digest.

Okay guys - I need to tell you about this brand that you may or may not know, but definitely should know. That 70's Show

Wearing: Zara Top | Genetic Denim Jeans |  Bacio 61 WedgesToday I was inspired by non other than, the 70s. I know I don't need to explain why the decade was so amazing in a fashion sense, but some of my favorite trends have come from that time. The 70s were free, colorful, and full of life. When I bought these jeans from Intermix I immediately pictured a hippie and a very colorful blouse. A year later I came across this silky top from Zara and then came this outfit. By the way - Genetic Denim is one of the softest denim brands out there, so if you look for comfort in your jeans, definitely try them out.

Inside Generation Style Runway Show

Wearing 1: KamaliKulture Jacket | Work Custom Pants | Just Fab Shoes | Bauble Bar Necklace
Wearing 2: Orla Kiely Outfit

Last night was the Inside Generation Style runway show hosted by IFB and Intel. Fifteen bloggers were chosen to participate in the show which represented the merge of technology and fashion - something I'm very passionate about myself. Every blogger had two looks, one from KamaliKulture and one from Orla Kiely. And yes, we got to keep almost everything. PLUS - I got my very own Ultrabook laptop! Don't forget to sign up for Just Fab and Bauble Bar to get these awesome pieces.
