Here it is guys! My first ever vintage collection is now shop-able on NiftyThrifty.com. I'm so excited to be sharing vintage pieces I hand-picked myself just for my amazing followers and friends! All of the clothing I'm wearing in the above photos is just a glimpse to what's available on the site. I know it can be hard to purchase vintage clothing online, which is why I'm telling you that I would not have chosen any pieces that I wouldn't wear myself So trust me - you'll love whatever you buy! If you guys have any questions about how something actually looks in person feel free to email me weworewhat@gmail.com. Also definitely send pics or tag me on Instagram when you receive the items!

InstaFootage
Raw unseen footage from the "off camera" life of... alright well it's not that serious. But, here are some pics of outfits I've been wearing when I wasn't planning on being a "blogger" and was just being Danielle. Which brings me to a point that's come up a lot lately, how/when to turn it off. Turn it off? Yes, how to put down the Iphone, resist checking Instagram, and be in the moment with friends and family. There's a time and a place people and as a fellow blogger with blogger friends, I know we can sometimes get caught up in it all. Keeping it real is what I strive for.. be organic baby.
Anyways, the first set of pics from my Iphone is from this Saturday on yet another thrifting adventure. A lot of you have been asking me the best place to thrift shop in the city, so here's a little list (I'll make a more detailed post soon)...
Beacon's Closet - 10 West 13th Street (and in Brooklyn)
Buffalo Exchange - 332 East 11th Street | 114 West 26th Street
Angela's Vintage Boutique - 330 E. 11th st
Local Clothing - 328 E. 9th St.
Housing Works - 157 East 23rd St | 320 W 13th St # 4 | 743 East 9th Street
Daha Vintage - 175 Orchard st
Metropolis - 43 Third Avenue
Screaming Mimi's - 382 Lafayette st.
Second outfit is at the Marc by Marc Jacobs event I co-hosted at Saks earlier this week with People Style Watch fashion director Kate Dimmock. I'm wearing all Marc by Marc and loving it. Outfit post with more pics from the event coming soon as well.
Last but not least, a quick visit to Opening Ceremony and #twinning with my dude Kadeem.

this Fall...
shop below
So this Fall... I plan on clothing myself in the obvious the repellant and the accessible. Not including leather, which is clearly something I wear all the time (and still will wear but didn't think it needed to be said), I will be wearing the following: overalls in full length (vintage is favored), high neck sweaters a.k.a turtle necks, tarten like prints, statement earrings, oxblood colored things (the new maroon), sweatshirt tee's, printed skater skirts, white after Labor Day (preferably in shoes and patent leather), beanies and floppy hats, varsity/bomber jackets, and brocade pants. Get it, got it, good.
In other news - tomorrow I will taking part in a Style Lab at Coterie (trade show) from 12-2pm. If you're at the show, come by our booth to see the looks I put together sponsored by Paige Denim! It will also be streaming live on Olapic so be sure to tune in.

INSTA WEEK
Last week was ridiculous. Here's why: I hosted an event at the Mondrian Hotel in Soho, I attended a Silent Disco (hosted by Gawker), explored the Brooklyn Botanic Garden's, my grandma was rushed to the hospital (she's okay now), I celebrated my other grandma's 80th birthday, shopped for hours around Soho (well that's just normal), and my best friend's puppy went missing for over 24 hours (we found her thank god). So yea, you could say I'm ready for a new week! TGIM(monday). Never thought I'd say that.
