Recap 101

After recapping the runways on Style.com last night, I couldn't help but share my favorite with you. 3.1 Phillip Lim has done it again, covering more than a few recognizable trends on the runway in the SS13 collection from NYFW. Graphic tee's (with some New York pride), leopard prints, pattern blocked sweatshirts, plaid and mesh in one pant, trashed denim, florals, mixed prints blouse, and pointed toe cut-out boots. Did I get it all? Hold on to your leopard printed garments kids, because they're hanging in there for Spring (as seen at Céline and Stella McCartney Resort13 and now here in 3.1 Phillip Lim). It's wearability with an attitude this year and I can't wait to see how the fast fashion retailers we know and love present these designer threads at an affordable price.

New York Fashion Week {day 4}

In the final stretch of New York Fashion Week SS13, we travel to the cobble-stone Meatpacking District where style is at an all time high. The anyone's, who's anyone strut their best Tommy Ton ready ensembles just waiting to be spotted by the street style photographers on every corner of Milk Studios. Trust me, this is place to be in NYC for people watching {not Times Square, you tourist}. Here are some of my favs from the man of the hour, and my photography idol... Tommy Ton.

On the streets from Day 2 NYFW featured a balloon like floral splattered dress from Marimekko. It was a glorious day (though rather hot, actually really really hot), at the tents from Lincoln Center where some of my favorite designers were showing.

New York Fashion Week {day 1}

{Panting} Oy, time is something I haven't seen in days. I've been running around for fashion week and loving every second of it, but it things have been a bit crazy. Last night was FNO, and a successful one at that. I started my night off at Macy's for a Walter Baker event I was hosting, and then skipped over to the Helmut Lang store in Soho for some drinks and fun. After that we danced over to RSVP for a Socialyte event and some food (finally). AND then, I said hi to friends at the Soho Grand Hotel for an event hosted by Aimee of SongofStyle and BryanBoy. LASTLY, but definitely not least, my girls and I celebrated a very late FNO at MisterH! Phew, I'm tired from just writing that - see below for pics from last night!
