I wanted to quickly share these pics from my second day at the ENK Vegas event - I'm at the airport right now about to board my flight from Vegas to London! So freaking excited to get to London and explore the city, meet with some cool brands, and shop. The fashion is ridiculously good there and I can't wait to channel my inner Kate Moss. Here we go 10 hour flight - stay tuned for more pictures from my travels!

Das Boot
Wearing: Helmut Lang Jacket | Vintage Dress - Similar | Urban Outfitters Beanie | Steve Madden Booties
Das boot, this boot, the boot. You remember, it started with the infamous Balenciaga buckle boot which we were all like "this is amazing but not worth over 1k." And as usual, brand after brand followed with their own versions and renditions of this burly bad-ass ankle boot. None of them caught my eye and I really didn't think the style seemed fitting. But, I happen to love this pair from Steve Madden (even with the chunk in the bottom half of the boot) - it still has a slimming width making it okay by me. So this is me taking a break from pointy toe heels and tapping into my East Village dweller self.

Almost Here
This is possibly the worst timing ever, I might have strep throat and it's 4 days before fashion week starts! I don't really have much to say because I've been trying to get better all weekend, drinking all kinds of tea and at least 5 cups a day. Any quick home remedies for a sore throat guys? Ugh!

Shaggy Me
Wearing: Clover Canyon Pants | PinkyYotto Jacket (in stores on East 9th st) | Theyskens' Theory Booties - Similar | Urban Outfitters Sunnies
And she does it again! I can officially put another successful thrifting adventure on my belt - and walk home for Vintage Valley (what I like to call the East Village) with a smile. Hitting up one of my favorites yesterday, Tokio7, I discovered these amazing Theyskens' shoes I had coveted for quite some time now (and for a nice little discount too). Lucky me, they were my size {duh}. I was thinking though, if I didn't ALWAYS (and I mean always) have the best luck with vintage/thrift shopping, maybe I wouldn't love it as much. My friends never really loved it until the day I took them out with me... Who's next?

Canadian Tux
Getting in touch with my Canadian roots (not that I actually have any) I tried a little denim on denim action earlier this week. Don't be afraid to get a little fancy and mix different shades too, especially with a patch-work button down like so. I also wanted to let you guys know that the BEST and EASIEST way to follow WeWoreWhat is through Bloglovin.com - click the button below and sign up!

Giving Thanks
It's almost that time of year again, where we stuff our face with mash potatoes and gravy, and try to avoid chopping our fingers off when cutting the turkey's tush for grandpa to eat. We go around the table, taking turns saying what we're thankful for, while the smallest cousin ties together all of our parents shoes. We play hide and seek, until someone gets hurt... and fight over the remote controls clicking on and off the football game. If this isn't what your Thanksgiving looks like - then well - it's definitely not as hilarious as mine. On a serious note - I wanted to tell all of you, my followers, that I am so so thankful for you supporting my blog and keeping me going! Have an amazing Thanksgiving guys!

Before the Snow
So I ran up to my friends roof the other day in the freezing cold just to catch some amazing light for a quick outfit post. Ya, bloggers are sometimes a little crazy. How exciting is it that NYC had our first snowfall of the season yesterday!? I really love the snow, but have formed a love-hate relationship with snow in the city. When it sticks, it's beautiful. But usually, snow in NYC just means slushy dirty mess. Whatever. Don't forget to stop by the Reformation store in Soho tonight from 6-9 to show The2Bandits jewelry with me!

Village Style
Wearing: Village Style Sweatshirt - Similar (ASOS) | All Saints Jeans | Topshop Boots | Celiné Luggage Tote
When I came across this sweatshirt at Village Style in the East Village, I immediately pictured Balenciaga and Topshop having a baby... for $15. And then I noticed that ASOS obviously already created something EXACTLY like it (here). The era of the fashionably acceptable sweatshirt has begun, and we're all about it. Standard crew necks that used to appear to me as 'bum-like', and printed sweatshirts with all sorts of weird graphics have been given a new reputation thanks to designers like Markus Lupfer and Phillip Lim.

5th Ave
Wearing: PinkyYotto Jacket - Similar | BikBok Denim - Similar | Commando Tights | Topshop Booties | RayBan Sunnies
I have the coolest story to tell you guys. So yesterday, I was sorting through curated vintage items and trying them on at the Reformation. While wearing this crazy coat, I reached into the pocket (to pose for a pic of course) and ended up finding something amazing... a Back To The Future movie ticket from 1989! There were two tickets in mint condition, not to mention the cost of a movie then was $3.50. So wild, I couldn't believe it. This is just one of the reasons I love vintage so much - I can't even imagine the story behind the person wearing that crazy cool jacket and going to see the movie in it. Here it is:
In other news: about my hair, I went to Arrojo the other day and vamped up my ombre a little to get a more dramatic look. I'm actually thinking of going dark this winter, which a oxblood ombre since it is the "it" color this season. Hopefully I'll be daring enough to go through with it. Always love a drastic change!

New York Fashion Week {day 2}
Follow my blog with Bloglovin
On the streets from Day 2 NYFW featured a balloon like floral splattered dress from Marimekko. It was a glorious day (though rather hot, actually really really hot), at the tents from Lincoln Center where some of my favorite designers were showing.
Exhibit A - W118 by Walter Baker - a personal favorite of mine, and designer I am proud to support through and through.
Exhibit B - Rebecca Minkoff - hands down my favorite collection thus far.

New York Fashion Week {day 1}
{Panting} Oy, time is something I haven't seen in days. I've been running around for fashion week and loving every second of it, but it things have been a bit crazy. Last night was FNO, and a successful one at that. I started my night off at Macy's for a Walter Baker event I was hosting, and then skipped over to the Helmut Lang store in Soho for some drinks and fun. After that we danced over to RSVP for a Socialyte event and some food (finally). AND then, I said hi to friends at the Soho Grand Hotel for an event hosted by Aimee of SongofStyle and BryanBoy. LASTLY, but definitely not least, my girls and I celebrated a very late FNO at MisterH! Phew, I'm tired from just writing that - see below for pics from last night! Pics from my Iphone, excuse the quality.
