"Florals for spring? Groundbreaking." This sarcastic remark made by Miranda Priestly in "The Devil Wears Prada" may ring true, but hey, we love them anyway. Personally, my love hate relationship with florals dates back to the days of raiding grandma's closet. The patterns were simple, the colors were drabby, and don't even get me started on the cut. However this is 2012, and you can bet this Spring offers dare-to-go-there color palettes, out-of-the-box prints, and structure's with an edge. Case in point: my pick for the Refinery 29 1 Piece 5 Ways Challenge, a floral jacket from BarIII's Spring collection available exclusively at Macys. When given this challenge, a statement was made that turned up the heat - "Nobody knows how to get more mileage out of their wardrobe than a seriously savvy style blogger".
