On Pajama Dressing

What could be better than a silky set, a classy pair of pumps, and a biker jacket to toughen it all up? When I came across this pajama esqué ensemble that just so happened to be on sale, I pictured finally having something sophisticated to sleep in, sort of like a sultry housewife (I think). But just like anything I own - including my little brothers old Nike tee that's now a crop top - I turned this pj set into street wear. Go ahead, try it!

Minimalistic

I'm laying in bed right now - slightly burnt and slightly damaged from last night's party/gambling in the Dominican Republic. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining - this has been incredible vacation and it will be hard to leave this perfect weather. By the way, I hear it's snowing in NY (hah). Max (my also burnt boyfriend) says hi too and wants you to know he's killing it at the casino. Here's another outfit post from before I left - I checked out Aritzia recently and I'm very impressed with.

The Green Jumpsuit

Wide-leg jumpers, especially ones like these.. are just simply cool. They're effortless, comfortable, and sometimes as chic as your mother's mother {winky face}. This mystery brand produces some of the most amazing mixed patterns on the most body-enhancing silhouettes. Shopping in Saks the other day, I was stopped in my tracks by a pair of perfectly printed pants that I just couldn't pass up. The combination of stripes and florals, not to the mention they're silk and wide-legged... could it get any better? Clover Canyon is an awesome brand that I definitely suggest you guys check out. ALSO, how great is this Alexander Wallet my amazing boyfriend gave me for my birthday?! Gotta love guys with style.

I heart my smart pants. Smart - because of their versatility, comfort, sophistication and on-trend ways. Who knew the pajama pant trend would the hit fashion industry by storm? I guess we did. Their super lightweight which makes them perfect for the warmer weather, and can be worn in several different ways (like so). When I found these pants at a random West Village boutique I immediately pictured a structured white blazer, and someone from the 70s. Also the reason I decided to show you these pants in two different outfits... Because I love this style so much, I decided to share some of my favorites for your purchasing pleasure.

I can't get over how gorgeous this shade of blue is, and yes it looks like this in person too. This silk top from The Addison Story actually has an open-back, can you say sexy? Sorry I forgot to photograph it! I'm really loving this grundy looking wall and the mini staircase that lead to nowhere. Also, getting ready to host a giveaway soon so keep your eyes peeled...
