Carnaby St | London

Wearing: Topshop Jeans | H&M Blouse (in stores now) | Helmut Lang Jacket | Topshop Shoes | Prada Sunnies

I officially want to move to London (for a year). Everything about this city is absolutely amazing, from its darling stone streets and the most beautiful buildings to its food and shopping of course. After my photo shoot with Boohoo yesterday (which was so awesome and I can't wait to share), I walked around Carnaby street with Max and shopped til I literally couldn't feel my feet. Keep updated on my travels through my instagram @weworewhat!

#ENKVegas

Wearing: Helmut Lang Skirt | Morning Warrior Lips Tee | Prada Sunnies

I had so much yesterday working with ENK Vegas on our blogging collaboration. Have you ever been to a trade show? If not, then you arre unaware of the massive tents with hundreds of the best brands presenting their latest collections in boothes inside. So having this as your closet for a day would probably be every girls dream, and was luckily mine. I pranced around the tents from booth to booth meeting up with some of my favorite brands and discovering new ones. Below are some brands I hung out with: Line & Dot, Rebecca Minkoff, Mink Pink (and their puppies), and Luv AJ.

Also, there are only two days left to WIN A TRIP TO PARIS with me!! So sign up and vote for my picture here on Fashiolista!

Das Boot

Wearing: Helmut Lang Jacket | Vintage Dress - Similar | Urban Outfitters Beanie | Steve Madden Booties

Das boot, this boot, the boot. You remember, it started with the infamous Balenciaga buckle boot which we were all like "this is amazing but not worth over 1k." And as usual, brand after brand followed with their own versions and renditions of this burly bad-ass ankle boot. None of them caught my eye and I really didn't think the style seemed fitting. But, I happen to love this pair from Steve Madden (even with the chunk in the bottom half of the boot) - it still has a slimming width making it okay by me. So this is me taking a break from pointy toe heels and tapping into my East Village dweller self.

Saint Laurent

Wearing: YSL Shirt - look-a-like | Nom De Plume Skirt | Helmut Lang Jacket | Shop Jeen Sunnies | Blue&Cream Beanie | Theysken's Theory Booties - Similar

Due to the no-longer-in-existence classic YSL t shirt, I linked you guys to an Etsy vendor who probably just irons it on himself. But wait - shouldn't it just be a simple SL - or would then people confuse you for supporting one of NYC's pop mad bottles clubs SL. We wouldn't want that. Saint Laurent is still the classic but now more edgy brand we have always loved. I wonder, why do people choose to splurge on a Christian Louboutin pump just to show off the red sole? In my opinion, a class Saint Laurent pump (like so) is the trĂ©s chic way to go.

Last Minute

Wearing: Mango Leather Pants | Front Row Shop Tee | Helmut Lang Jacket | ACNE Booties

Now I know I'm not the only one running around doing some last minute New Years Eve shopping today, right? I'm so excited to be ringing in the new year with my closest friends but most importantly to be making some important resolutions. The first - which most of you may say "ditto" to is to live a more healthy lifestyle (with eating and exercise). The next, is to have more significant family time. My grandma is currently struggling for her life in the hospital and it has really made me appreciate my family even more than I already do. I hope you guys can help me pray for her <3 Lastly, I would like to keep growing my blog by becoming a positive influence in other girls lives. Whether it's through my style inspiration or life experiences I always hope to become somewhat of a role model for other young women.

Have an amazing and safe night guys!!

Minimalistic

Wearing: Zara Pants | Aritzia Top | Helmut Lang Jacket | 3.1 Phillip Lim Bag | Gypsum Spike Bracelet | All Saints Beanie

I'm laying in bed right now - slightly burnt and slightly damaged from last night's party/gambling in the Dominican Republic. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining - this has been incredible vacation and it will be hard to leave this perfect weather. By the way, I hear it's snowing in NY (hah). Max (my also burnt boyfriend) says hi too and wants you to know he's killing it at the casino. Here's another outfit post from before I left - I checked out Aritzia recently and I'm very impressed with.

Just Add Tights

Wearing: Zara Dress - Similar | Commando Tights | OASIS Booties | Helmut Lang Jacket | Phillip Lim Bag | All Saints Beanie | Vintage Sunnies (from American Apparel)

I bet we all do the same when it comes to switching from our summer to winter wardrobes - we either send clothing home to the rents, sell it, maybe even store it somewhere besides our tiny NYC closets. Yes, I do most of these myself, but I've recently started saving pieces from my summer wardrobe that I can "just add tights" to. Btw, I was inspired by a current Nifty Thrifty sale for the title of this post. Speaking of, make sure you sign up before next week because there is something coming up that you do NOT want to miss - maybe a collection of vintage clothing curated by me, or something like that.....
