I officially want to move to London (for a year). Everything about this city is absolutely amazing, from its darling stone streets and the most beautiful buildings to its food and shopping of course. After my photo shoot with Boohoo yesterday (which was so awesome and I can't wait to share), I walked around Carnaby street with Max and shopped til I literally couldn't feel my feet. Winter white inspiration round two - it can be done. I took a break from being sick today.. scratch that, I'm totally still sick but the fashion world doesn't stop for me (and I wouldn't expect it to). So, I'm out and about at showroom visits and meetings all day in an effort to prep for fashion week while feeling under the weather. I figured if anything, a little all white dressing would keep me going for the day (a.k.a constantly worrying about spilling my tea or coffee all over myself). By the way, can we just discuss the Superbowl Beyonce last night? She actually shut it down, but really.

This is possibly the worst timing ever, I might have strep throat and it's 4 days before fashion week starts! I don't really have much to say because I've been trying to get better all weekend, drinking all kinds of tea and at least 5 cups a day. Any quick home remedies for a sore throat guys? Ugh!

Street Style'ing

How to: street style edition. With fashion week glaring from us around the corner, the pressure is on the capture the attention of the Tommy Tons and other notable camera lenses outside the tents. In this how to, I'd like to discuss the photograph ready street style walk. When prancing up the steps into the valley of street style photographers (outside Lincoln Center), one should chant in their head "boom boom boom boom..." This is totally replacing "strut strut..." because strut is just a little too sissy for my liking. I'm talking beat pounding fierce steps that scream confidence and you better photograph me as you walk by. I like to compare this attitude to the one when I was 17 and getting into clubs as if I belonged there. If you walk the walk...well, the rest will follow.

Look mah, no beanie! I've been getting a bunch of comments lately (mainly from my dad) about how I seem to always wear a beanie in my blog pics. Now come on, I definitely do not hate my hair, I actually LOVE it and feel lucky to never really have to worry about it. In the cold seasons however, a beanie A: keep me warm, and B: seems to always complete a layered look or add that perfect edge I constantly seek out. Guess you haters have to suck it up til Spring - oh, and the same goes for sunnies!

Dark Dressing

New arrival from H&M round 2 - mesh edition. So I was thinking, can goth be chic? When I put on this outfit to snap some pics, my photographer told me I looked...dark {gasp}. Now that's the last thing I was going for and ever thought I'd hear come out of someones mouth when describing my style. Obviously I don't always dress in all black, and maybe the netted top didn't help. However, dark dressing is the essence of NYC edge so let's just say it works. 

On Pajama Dressing

What could be better than a silky set, a classy pair of pumps, and a biker jacket to toughen it all up? When I came across this pajama esqué ensemble that just so happened to be on sale, I pictured finally having something sophisticated to sleep in, sort of like a sultry housewife (I think). But just like anything I own - including my little brothers old Nike tee that's now a crop top - I turned this pj set into street wear. Go ahead, try it!

New Beginnings

I wonder what 2013 is supposed to feel like... it's officially a new year which should mean new beginnings and some big changes. I hope everyone had an amazing New Years Eve (I know I did). And if you missed it on Instagram, I was sporting some it's New Years so I have an excuse to wear sequin pants - found here. I'm so excited for what's to come in 2013 - I know it's gonna be a good one for We Wore What. 2013, let's begin.

Hey from the Dominican Republic - Punta Cana!! It's only day 2 and I'm having the most amazing vacation. The beaches are beautiful, the sun is slowly burning my skin (ouch), and I'm winning big at the casino (so far - don't jinx it). 

So of course these pics we're taken in NYC, I knew I couldn't just leave the country without setting up a few outfit posts. I'm very obsessed with these new pointy toe wedges from H&M (they remind me of Céline) and look good with so many different bottoms. Go now to an H&M near you because I'm sure they'll sell out quickly! 

'Tis the Season

Now that Thanksgiving is over, we can focus on a more important holiday.. one full of presents, pretty lights, and incredible music we for some reason only listen to one month of the year - this should change. I'm currently working on my holiday wish list and want to hear what you guys are asking Santa for this year (I maybe still believe in him)!

Kid Walker

Counting down the hours til my flight on Friday night to Stockholm - woot woot. So I've randomly been running around this city in my overalls lately. To showroom visits, coffee meetings, and to Trader Joe's.. I've looked to my overalls for comfort and ease. The last time I wore these babies were over a month ago, so I think us reuniting has got me hooked.
