I feel like a badass (fashionable) soldier today in this outfit and definitely acted like one too. My version of a soldier today was hunting through a sea of vintage and claiming the best pieces over other reckless shoppers at Beacon's Closet. You might have noticed lately that I started incorporating what I think will be more interesting posts and pictures to blog about. My new Friday's Finest post, inspiration pictures, and maybe even some lookbooks I love will start grace the pages of weworewhat, so get excited! I'm pretty obsessed with this Nom De Plume dress I actually cut from a tee to a tank because let's face it... NYC has been a freaking sauna lately.

I'm loving this RACHEL Rachel Roy Top  that's part of her RRR x Seu Jorge capsule collection. The entire collection features pieces inspired by Brasil and honestly just makes me want to take a really long vacation. If you know my blog - you know that there is also something vintage in my outfit, so obviously I paired this modern tunic with some vintage lace-up boots.

PFFFF (that's me being exhausted after moving to my new apartment this weekend). It's been a long weekend of sun bathing and heavy lifting, but I'm finally feeling a bit settled. I moved from the West side to the East side, to a brand new apartment with the best part being - the exposed brick! Today I have to finish decorating (and cleaning) but then I will take some pics and maybe even do a blog post on it. We'll see! Happy Monday peeps.

My relationship with vintage has found its perfect date - The Vintage Twin TRUNK SHOW! Now if you don't remember my blog post on my first encounter with the girls behind the vintage, then let me remind you of how awesome it was HERE. So, tomorrow and Wednesday they will be selling the hunted/re-worked treasures they've been keeping for themselves all this time, and I'll be there too! Wearing: The Reformation everything

My new obsession is a hidden gem on the Lower East Side, The Reformation. If you haven't been yet, then you haven't seen the amazing pieces that you can only find at this store. It's repurposed vintage meets sustainable fashion meets an edgy and chic environment I just can't get enough of. I took these pics while shopping around the other day and definitely plan on going back soon.
