OOTD

Wearing: Theory Tee | CO225 Shorts | LF Hat | Ecote Booties

Outfit of the day. FYI - I stopped at Zara this weekend and there are some amazing sale items, plus some ridiculously cool Fall items. Zara is killing it these days, so go!

Crosby Street

Wearing: Maje Romper, Cheap Monday Shoes | Botkier Bag (Justin's of Munrowe) | Vintage Belt

Sometimes when I'm wearing a onesie/romper/jumper/bib/body/bodysuit/sailorsuit/babygro (you get the picture), I feel like it's riding up my tush - but, that is not the case here. The other day I went to sell a lot of clothing at Buffalo Exchange (and then donated the rest). After receiving a rather large credit I shopped around and found this awesome Maje romper for only $40.00! Designer clothing at a thrifty price - now that's my kind of shop.

Friday's Finest: KICKS

Giuseppe Zanotti | Pierre Hardy | Elana Iachi | Gienchi | YSLIsabel Marant
(from left to right, top to bottom)

A few seasons ago, it would have been unthinkable to wear your running shoes around during fashion week (unless you're Taylor Tomasi Hill and then you may proceed). But this year, fashion industry insiders are running around in their *pause* sneakers more than ever before. Clearly they aren't the average gym shoes, each of these fashion approved kicks have got a little something extra that make us go "ooh" and "ahh." Whether it's three-inches of hidden wedge *applaud Isabel Marant* or studs on pony hair - we're taking "kicking it old school" to a whole other level.

Walter Baker Event

Last night was the Walter Baker ECommerse Launch and Resort Collection preview event I hosted at Mister H. I wore a white leather peplum top, and red leather shorts that are both pieces from Walter Baker Resort. It was such a great turnout, and I'm pretty sure everyone enjoyed the "WeWoreWhat" a.k.a a drink named just for me at the event! Get ready because Walter Baker's website (here) is launching in less than 24 hours, and trust me, you will LOVE this stuff guys.

Graphics Anonymous

Wearing: Urban Outfitters Tee | TWT Skirt - Similar | Dolce Vita Loafers | ASOS Bag

Someone admit me into Graphics Anonymous, because I'm addicted. If you ever happen to catch me in party mode on a night out, you bet I'll be rocking a graphic muscle tank with either leather shorts or denim cut offs. Brands like Unif (featured below), Chasers, Wildfox, and Truly Madly Deeply (at UO), offer a pretty unbelievable selection of different types of tanks and tees. Whether they're making a statement or displaying a piece of art, graphics can add that extra edge that we always talk about. Here are some of my recent favs...

Casual Monday

Wearing: DIY Shirt (cutouts) | Urban Outfitter Shorts | Sperry Shoes

A ton of errands on a Monday morning calls for casual comfort at it's best. You won't ever see me attending an event in my favorite Sperry boat shoes, but catch me on the street when I'm off the clock and 99% of the time these guys will be helping me get around in comfort. Everyone should own a pair - obviously metallic gold were the pair for me.

Walk This Way

Wearing: The Vintage Twin Leather Pants | Necessary Clothing Top | Shop Jeen Spike Bracelet and Sunnies | Senso Booties | Giles and Brother Nail Cuff

Finally the weather has chilled out, a little bit, and I finally slipped into a pair of pants again! I honestly can't wait for the Fall (please don't kill me for saying that) - it's my favorite season (fashion wise). Clearly I have to justify myself so here it goes: Fall is all about the layers, the colors, the boots, the leather, the shows, the events, the runway, NYFW, hats, scarves, and maybe even some fur. What's not to like?!

ALSO, can we please acknowledge these leather harem pants? What a great find.

Friday's Finest: Loafers

It's the mack daddy of all loafers on weworewhat today and we're taken androgyny to a whole other level. Calling all studs, prints, tassels, cap toes, and embroidery - the loafer/slipper is here. Take a cue from the Playboy patriarch, our buddy Hugh (Hefner that is) who debuted the loafer in the 70s. These shoes are a personal favorite of mine (next to sneakers) for their easiness. I love throwing on a fancy duo with jeans and a tee to put a little pizzaz in my 1, 2 step.

Retro Threads

Wearing: Vintage Blouse | American Apparel Shorts | Storets Rings | Dolce Vita Loafers

If any online shopping site does it right, it's Storets. The online boutique is a collective of pieces by Korean independent designers, and is worn by some of the top bloggers we all know and love (I happen to love their shoes). On-trend fashion that's affordable and unique... not much more you can ask for. They kind of remind me of two stores here in NYC, PinkyYotto and Think Closet. Both are also Korean designer based and there's usually only one of each piece. You go Korean fashion!

NMRKT : Soaked

Wearing: Ramy Brook Dress (gifted from ODA PR) | Vanessa Mooney Necklace | F21 Bag

Yesterday was a great day. I had a ton of showroom visits and an awesome event to top it all off. Lots of thanks to ODA PR for my new boho chic dress by Ramy Brook. NMRKT has been throwing these Fashion Series parties all summer at the Mondrian Hotel in Soho and now they've taken us up top to the brand new rooftop called Soaked. My besties Kelsey (FashionAce) and Freddy (BluePerk) joined me for cocktails and the best views in all of downtown NYC.

Bang!

Wearing: Wildfox Tee | Vintage Levi Shorts - Similar | Converse

Wildfox, vintage cut-offs, an NYC rooftop, and a worn out pair of kicks.. now that's my kind of look. In other news, I hope you guys are ready because I have officially finished redesigning my blog and can't wait to share it with you! It should be up by the end of this week, if not sooner. Stay tuned!
